A trailing lanyard when not in use can present a snagging, entanglement and tripping hazard to the scaffolder. When not working at height or using the lanyard it should be securely stowed, ideally using a sacrificial lanyard parking point.
The Lanyard ‘Break Away’ Parking Loop is designed to clip onto the shoulder strap of a harness. Once fitted, it can be used to park the unused working end of your Scaff Hook indirectly onto a harness when not in use.
